A Japanese hi-tec firm has invented a headset that can translate foreign languages and beam the subtitles on to your retinas. Seriously. Using built-in software and a microphone, the best toy ever conceived by mankind can pick up what language is being spoken and project subtitles onto your eyes in real time. They are scheduled to go on sale in Japan next year for about $2,000 a pair. I don't know about you guys but when I hear people conversing in foreign languages, I'm curious to know what they're saying about me (because they
are talking about me. Always.). Welcome to the brave new world.
